Welcome to my kitchen!

I am so glad you are here. My love for cooking started as a young homeschooled girl. I enjoyed testing out my (not-so-good) recipes on my younger brother and sister. In high school, one of my fondest memories was cooking a traditional Spanish recipe for my Spanish class. I have also worked for two catering companies, a local Bed and Breakfast, as well as a high-end Italian restaurant.

In college, once I was out of the house and on my own, I found myself leaving the Food Network on the TV 24/7. Rachel Ray’s 30 Minute Meals, Ina Garten’s Barefoot Contessa, and Alton Brown’s Good Eats taught me everything about home cooking. I hope you enjoy cooking my easy, delicious, and beautiful meals.
