If you enjoy easy high-protein meals that not only taste exceptional but take less than thirty minutes to prepare, you’ll like this one!

Avocado corn salsa over grilled burgers is one meal that screams out rich flavors, great texture, and mouthwatering taste. It is made with avocados, corn, lime juice, cumin, paprika, cayenne, olive oil, oregano, chili powder, fresh cilantro, and pre-made burger patties to cut down on prep time.

Burgers with avocado corn salsa are packed with healthy nutrients. Avocado is more than a trendy fruit, it provides you with antioxidants and essential nutrients that help you maintain cardiovascular health and improve your physical and mental performance. Also a staple in anyone following a keto-friendly lifestyle

Corn is rich in riboflavin, phosphorus, potassium, iron, calcium, zinc, and B vitamins. It provides antioxidants, fiber, and proteins, it is gluten-free, and an ideal option for vegetarians.

The most important part of the nutritional value of olive oil is its composition in fatty acids. Cilantro, on the other hand, is a natural source of vitamins B1, B2, B3, C, and K; in addition to providing minerals such as potassium and calcium, among others, it also contains a high concentration of iron.

How to Make Burgers with Avocado Corn Salsa

To begin, I start by making my avocado corn salsa. To do this, in a small to medium bowl, I add corn, cubed avocados, red onion, lime juice, quality olive oil, cayenne, black pepper, cilantro, and salt. I stir all ingredients until well combined.

Then I cover it and set it aside in my refrigerator.

Then I jump into seasoning the pre-made burgers patties. To do this, I place the pre-made burgers on a large tray and season lightly with cumin, black pepper, chili powder, and paprika.

Next, I pre-heat my outdoor grill to 400 degrees and cook the patties for 3-5 minutes on each side. To keep them from getting too thick, you can use a burger press. These also help in the winter if you are using an indoor grill pan. To serve, I top the burgers with my avocado, and corn salsa, and voila! The meal is served.

Burgers with Avocado COrn Salsa tips & tricks:

  • Try Grilling You Fresh Corn. To add a smoky, complex flavor to your avocado salsa, you might want to try grilling your corn. You can do this by brushing them with olive oil, salt, and pepper, and grilling for two minutes then rotting the ears, until there is a nice char all around the corn. Thereafter, cut the corn kernels from the cob and add to the salsa.

  • Customize Spice Level & Rareness of Beef. You can customize the heat of this food. If you want it hotter and spicer, add extra cayenne for some heat. Or to play around with the rareness of your beef if you prefer a medium burger, you can cook for 2-4 minutes per side for a pink center. I like using a digital meat thermometer, and this one is great!
